Welcome to Villa Vlokje! At Villa Vlokje we offer luxury apartments for everyone. Whether you are looking for a short or long vacation, Villa Vlokje has what you are looking for. We have apartments ranging from one to six people. All of our apartments are modern and comfortably furnished with all the comforts of home.

Who we are.

We are Caroline and Marco, both 53 and we have a faithful four-legged friend named Smokey. Many years we went on vacation to different places and places and when going home we always said to each other next year we will go back. Sad but true, the next year we still went somewhere else, until we caught the Croatia love. The first vacation in Croatia was great and for the first time we went back to Croatia the following year. For twelve years we went back and each time we hated that the vacation was over and we had to go back home. In 2022 we tied the knot and as we had discussed it many times we wanted to live in Croatia. We put our house up for sale. Marco had a contracting business and stopped taking work. Caroline worked full time and she quit her job. We never thought the house would sell so quickly and before we knew it we were homeless. In May 2022 we left for Croatia for three weeks with one goal:to find the perfect house in the perfect place. What a lot of houses we saw, but each time it was just not what we were looking for. In July 2022, we went to Croatia again with a mission to find a house. Again we found nothing until we saw this house in Micetici. We both instantly fell in love. Now this house was also for sale and our luck could not be better.. At the end of July 2022 we bought the house and we were proud owners of the house in Croatia. We worked very hard for eight months and renovated and refurbished everything the way we wanted for our guests. In our eyes this has certainly succeeded and the reactions we get are overwhelming and that does us very well. This also gives us more energy to continue expanding and renovating our complex. We have stopped dreaming about a life in Croatia and now have a new life in Croatia with, among other things, the goal of giving our guests an unforgettable vacation in the hope that their love for Croatia will grow.
