GENERAL
These are the General Terms and Conditions of Villa Vlokje / Tubergen d.o.o. registered with the Chamber of Commerce/Tourism in Pazin. These terms are between you and Villa Vlokje and apply to all services and any use of the website
By using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Villa Vlokje has the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice. You are advised to (re)read these Terms and Conditions upon repeated use.
RESERVERING
The www.villavlokje.nl website allows you to book a flat. You agree that you are making reservations in good faith and for legitimate use by you and your invited guests and not for any other purpose, including but not limited to reselling, impermissibly assigning or posting on third-party websites, or speculatively, falsely or fraudulently making reservations or possibly reservations pending demand.
Villa Vlokje is entitled at any time not to accept or execute a reservation, or to attach additional conditions to the acceptance or execution of a reservation.
Personal data that Villa Vlokje collects from you will be processed in accordance with the Tourism Privacy Policy. You can consult this on our website.
You must use Villa Vlokje's services in accordance with applicable law, these General Conditions, common decency and reasonable instructions from Villa Vlokje, as published on the website, by e-mail or provided in the flats. Therefore, you are not allowed to use the Services for unlawful purposes, in a way that could cause damage to the rights and/or interests of third parties or that, in the opinion of Villa Vlokje, could in any way damage Villa Vlokje. If you violate the foregoing, Villa Vlokje reserves the right to refuse further services to you. You will be liable for all damages and expenses incurred by Villa Vlokje as a result of your breach of this provision, without the need for any prior claim or notice of default.
RATES & PAYMENT
Rates listed on the website include VAT and any other surcharges excluding tourist tax unless otherwise indicated. Villa Vlokje reserves the right to change these rates without prior notice for reasons that justify it.
In the event of failure to pay (on time), you will be in default, without prior demand or notice of default being necessary. If, despite the claim or notice of default, you still fail to pay, Villa Vlokje is entitled to transfer the claim to a third party.
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
You cannot cancel your reservation free of charge.
Should you wish to change your booking please contact us at info@villavlokje.nl. For changes, we cannot guarantee either the availability or the rate of your reservation.
NO SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not allowed in the flats. Smoking is allowed outside the flats or in the designated areas.
Smoking in the garden is allowed, but we kindly ask you to leave your cigarettes in one of the placed ashtrays.
We reserve the right to charge a fee of at least €250,00 for specialist cleaning in case we suspect you have smoked in the flats. If the fire alarm goes off due to smoking in your apartment/room, the cost of the fire brigade will be charged to you. We also reserve the right to terminate the rest of your stay if we find that you are not complying with our smoking policy.
VISIT
You are not allowed to receive visitors in your flat from third parties.
However, you can receive any other guests staying at Villa Vlokje.
People from outside are requested to leave the complex immediately. If we suspect that you are not complying with our house rules, we are authorised to enter your flat or room and they will have to leave the complex immediately. In other words, it is not allowed to stay in the room with more people than the number booked.
SOUND
We kindly ask you to respect the peace and quiet of our other guests. In case of noise nuisance, we reserve the right to terminate the rest of your stay.
TELEPHONE & LUGGAGE
To ensure that everyone enjoys their visit to the complex, we ask you to be polite to all guests and staff. Phones and tablets are allowed in the common areas, but please be aware of the guests around you. No loudspeakers.
DECORATION & DAMAGE
Bringing your own decoration is allowed on request. For safety reasons, candles are not allowed in the bedrooms. To ensure quality, decorative items (glitter, confetti, etc.) that may damage or extremely dirty walls and floors are not allowed. We kindly ask you to clean up all your decorations yourself before leaving your flat. You may bring your own food and cooking activities are not allowed in the flat.
ANIMALS
Pets are allowed at the complex dogs up to 10 kilos.
LOSS & DAMAGE
All found items will be kept for one (1) month. We are not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by our guests or their property. However, this does not exclude or limit these, where it would be unlawful to do so, and that liability includes personal injury caused by our negligence (or that of our employees or sub-contractors) Any damage or extreme contamination to rooms or the guest house caused by you or your party during the stay and items missing on your departure will be charged.
CHILDREN
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
The complex is designed for adults, but children are certainly welcome too. Please be considerate of other guests when bringing your children and remember that your children are your responsibility at all times.
To ensure that everyone enjoys their visit to the complex, we have a zero tolerance policy. This means that failure to comply with our house rules does not require a warning, but you will be asked to leave the complex immediately. No money will be returned and any damages, as described above, will be charged.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
Villa Vlokje accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation for failure to provide the services contracted by us due to circumstances beyond our control: (natural) disaster, fire, (acts of) war and terrorism, strikes, riots, civil disturbances, government regulations, industrial disputes, adverse weather conditions or other exceptional and catastrophic events, circumstances or emergencies that make it impossible, illegal or prevent guests from staying at the hotel.
These Terms and Conditions and all bookings made hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Croatian law. This choice of law does not affect the consumer protection provided by provisions that cannot be derogated from by contract under the law that, in the absence of choice, would have been applicable in your country of residence. Disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Pazin, Croatia.
